Life is dangerous in the forest, especially for the fifteen young rabbits who are learning to navigate their home. While there are many wonderful things and other animals to get to know, including a deer by the name of Bambi, there are also dangers, and the constant threat of man. In order to thrive, the rabbits must stick together...

Bambi is a young deer hailed as the 'Prince of the Forest' at his birth. As Bambi grows, he makes friends with the other animals of the forest, in particular a rabbit named Thumper and a skunk named Flower. He learns the skills needed to survive, and he even finds love. One day, however, the human hunters come, and Bambi must learn to be as brave as his father if he is to lead the other deer to safety.

Hailed as the Prince of the Forest at his birth, wobble-legged Bambi the fawn lives deep in the woodland with his mother.
