C. S Lewis
Clive Staples Lewis was born on November 29th 1898 in Belfast, Ireland. He was a man of many parts; novelist, poet, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist, lay theologian, and Christian apologist. After a short time serving with the British in World War I most of his life was spent in academia at Oxford from 1925-1954 and thence Cambridge from 1954-1963.
